I am ill, have been for the past few days, and I don’t see an end just yet.  There are gremlins running a muck in my head, clogging my sinuses and scratching the back of my throat.  It seams as though thereare many at work who face these same troubles.  DayQuil, Chloraseptic Spray, and time…

I’m in the process of working on my first review.  I’m not gonna review new games, there are enough people who do that.  I plan to review old games, to see if they still have enough charm to them after a few years.  Retirement Review, I might call it, or Bargain Bin Breakdown.  The first game to go down is Quake 2, but that’s as far as I’m going now.

 

I still have the urge to remake this video, especially since I have much better software now.  I have learned a lot about editing and timing, and think I could do a much better job, blending the Portal scenes with some custom spots done in Garry’s Mod.  I’m also considering making a Half-Life 2:Episode Two vid with a track from that episode.  Just an idea at the moment.

I haven’t completly finished writing all of completeBS, but opened the site anyways due to ‘just because’.

I’ve found myself in a rut.  I currently own over 100 games for PC, and I can’t find one to play.  I’ve stared at my Steam list over and over, installed and uninstalled many games.  Flipped through my catalog of hard copies, and nothing.  I’ve looked over the Steam Store, browsed; Best Buy, NewEgg, and GameStop, and found nothing.  I’m in a gamers rut.

Even as I write this, I feel a small urge to play Quake 4.  I grab the discs, go to install it, get asked for the CD key…  It’s on the box, in a bag, in the shed, in the back yard.  And I have no desire to go and get it.  And by this point even the urge to play Quake 4 is fading.  I need something new.

I was given the pleasure of getting a first hand look at our great judicial system.  I arrived at the courthouse, waited for almost two hours, went into the courtroom for thirty minutes, left the courtroom, waited about an hour for paperwork, and then spent almost two hours getting it all filled and filed.  What a great system we have here.  They arrest ya, they tri’ ya, and in between they bore ya as much as they can.

I love this country.

After which I got to spend almost two hours in a doctor’s waiting room.  Most of which was spent watching Obama’s town hall speech, when I wasn’t reading a month old issue of The Week.  In which they were making comparisons to, at the time President-elect, Obama and FDR.  Both had their plans on fixing the country’s economy and job issues.  Only FDR’s didn’t work; it was WWII that got us out of our slump.

But all this is really irrelevant to the grand scheme of everything, mainly this blog…
