Updates and changes
by korerat on May.20, 2010, under News
So I’m thinking of making some changes to the basics to this site. More article esque writing about game related things. There may be some shorter ones maybe some good old fashioned longer ones, we’ll see.
I have recently spent a lot of time playing Left 4 Dead, so expect that to show up a few times. I also plan to get a couple of new Bargain Bins written, focusing on Steam Store titles.
More stuff later.
Let’s try this again

A fancy new phone and a few new games later, I’m going to try and get back to updates.
I’ll be able to do quick post with my phone, so let’s hope I can get off my add and do this…

and Four Months Later…
by korerat on Jan.06, 2010, under News
Well, I’ve been out and away getting sucked into Facebook and Star Wars Galaxies. I haven’t even played much Team Fortress 2 lately… I think I’m gonna try and get my brain juices flowing again and make something. I do kinda miss screwing around in Garry’s Mod. And maybe a new Bargain Bin Review.
No promises, but I’d like to do something.

Grading Changed
by korerat on Aug.01, 2009, under News
I’ve changed the scale that the Bargain Bins will be graded on. The old system, which was Binary influenced was just plain stupid. I’ve scrapped it and created a new one. The new grading system is a reverse scoring system, wherein the lower the score the better the game is. Here are some examples:
As you can see, the goal is to not spell ‘complete’. Doing such delcares just how much of a complete waste of time, complete drain on your senses, complete BS. The lower the score, the fewer letters recieved, the better the game holds out.
Changes have been made to all the past Bargain Bin Breakdowns; Quake 2, Oregon Trail, Sim City Classic, American McGee’s Alice, and Evil Genius.
Any questions?
